One Lucky Baby - One Size Nighttime Solution Hybrid Fitted Diaper Review

One Lucky Baby - One Size Nighttime Solution Hybrid Fitted Diaper
Surfing the web for cute cloth diapers is a dangerous hobby.  I found this one a couple months ago while cruising on Facebook and just had to have it!  Linc is my little manly man, and this diaper is ALL BOY!  I especially love that it has the Incredible Hulk on it.  Linc's about as big as the Incredible Hulk and has about the same split personality.  Maybe I should paint him green for Halloween and call it a day.  Haha!  Maybe not, but it would be a cute costume.  Besides the cute print, this diaper also lured me in with the latest craze word... Hybrid.  Everyone's talking about hybrid diapers and how great they are without a cover so by golly I'm going to have a hybrid diaper and test this baby out.

Performance Review:

One Lucky Baby - One Size Nighttime Solution Hybrid Fitted Diaper - On my baby
Ease Of Use: ♥♥♥♥ -  This diaper is pretty easy to use.  There are only two snaps on each wing and adjustments are made via a snap down rise.  I like that I can just snap the rise on a smaller baby and leave it that way instead of folding the front and snapping like other diapers that have a fold down rise.  I feel that it just goes on faster that way and fits better.  The soaker is also a short petal soaker so I don't have to mess with folding a soaker.  That said this soaker does not fold well so if the soaker is too long (ex: when using on a smaller baby) then you'll probably have to use something else instead of the soaker provided.

Adjustability & Fit: ♥♥♥♥♥ - I love the fit of this diaper.  It's very trim in between the legs and wraps around Linc pretty well.  This diaper isn't especially stretchy though, but I assume that's because I got this diaper in a woven fabric instead of a knit like I usually do.  This diaper does get pretty small for a younger baby, but like I said above, the soaker does not fold up well for a smaller baby.  It would be nice if the two soakers were independent of each other and snapped together so that I could just use one for a smaller baby and two for a larger baby.

Leak Protection: ♥♥♥♥ - This diaper took awhile to reach full absorbency, but once it did it worked really well.  The diaper will usually just feel cool to the touch or damp at the most when Linc pees in it without a cover.  I will say that the sides by the leg elastic gets pretty wet though due to the insert being so skinny, so if going coverless it's best to just put on a shirt or dress and no pants.  This diaper did not leak at night for Linc or Kamryn (our tester baby #2).  It was drenched though.  **Please Note: This diaper does require a cover to be waterproof**

Wash Routine: ♥♥♥♥♥ - This diaper is very easy to wash.  I just throw it in the wash with the soaker still attached and then throw it in the dryer.  This saves me the time of matching up the soaker with the diaper later on.  This diaper also dried pretty fast for a fitted diaper at around 75 minutes.

Bang For The Buck: ♥♥♥♥♥ - At $24 this diaper is pretty average priced for a WAHM fitted diaper.  It helps a lot that it's a one-size diaper, but it would be better if the soaker worked better for smaller sizes.

Quality & Durability: ♥♥♥♥ - The quality and durability of this diaper is pretty good.  I didn't really see any problems.

The Look: ♥♥♥♥ -  I love the look of this diaper.  The print is adorable, and since this is a WAHM company, she can pretty much create a diaper from any print that you want.  The wing tabs seem a little skinny to me, but because of that you don't get as much wing curling as you do with other diapers and they ride over Linc's huge thighs really well!

In Conclusion:
I would totally recommend this diaper to those looking for a cute fitted diaper that their baby can go coverless in at home.  I do hope she makes some changes on the soaker for smaller babies, but for a child that's already at the full  rise setting like Linc, then it's perfect!
