Baby BeeHinds - Bamboo One Size Fitted Diaper Review

Baby BeeHinds Bamboo One-Size Fitted Cloth Diaper
I got this diaper during my pregnancy nesting days before Linc was born on a Deal A Day site.  It didn't come with any fancy prints or velour fabric, but it definitely sounded like it would get the job done and hold in a lot of pee.  Plus I had some referral money, so you can't beat a free diaper.  Yay!  Well I didn't really use it during the newborn stage so I feel bad that I can't tell you all how it worked, but when pocket diapers stopped working for Linc at night you can probably guess what I grabbed out of his stash.  Yes, at about 6 months I broke out the Baby BeeHinds as one of my go-to nighttime solutions.  Check out my review below to see how it's been working for us.

Performance Review:

Ease Of Use: ♥♥♥ - This diaper is pretty easy to use.  I like that there are only two snaps on each wing so it's a little less time consuming than most other fitted diapers that have three or even four snaps per wing.  You do have to fold the snake style soaker, but it takes no time at all.  I just wish that there was more stretch on the wings so it would be easier to pull them over and snap them.

Adjustability & Fit: ♥♥♥♥♥ - This diaper is a bit short on the rise.  Yes, I know Linc is a big baby, but he's only going to get bigger.  There also isn't much stretch to this diaper so I feel that it might not be as comfortable on Linc as some other options that are more stretchy.  I do like that this diaper comes with both a snake style soaker and a doubler/newborn soaker.  It really makes customizing the absorbency of this diaper very easy.  I use both when Linc is in the diaper.  I snap the long soaker into the back and the short soaker into the front.

Leak Protection: ♥♥♥♥♥ -  This diaper is awesome when it comes to absorbency!  Linc can pee two or three times before the outside starts feeling damp so I feel totally safe having him run around   crawl around the house without a cover on.  I still get the benefits of a fitted though because he's getting lots of air flow and I can feel the warmth or coolness through the diaper when he pees.  This diaper worked well for both Linc and Kamryn (tester baby #2) at night as well.  *Please note: This diaper does need a cover to be waterproof.*

Wash Routine: ♥♥♥♥♥ - This diaper is fairly easy when it comes to washing.  I just leave both soakers snapped in so I don't have to hunt and match them up when they're done drying.  That said, this diaper is bamboo, so it does take awhile to dry.  On average this diaper took about 105 minutes in the dryer.

Bang For The Buck: ♥♥♥♥♥ - This diaper is on the average/high price range for a factory made diaper.  I like that it's a one-size diaper, but I'm not so sure that it will fit Linc till he's potty trained.  It would probably fit a smaller baby till potty training though.

Quality & Durability: ♥♥♥♥♥ - The durability of this diaper seems great.  I have no doubt that it will hold up over the years.  I do wish that the bamboo was a bit softer though.

The Look: ♥♥♥♥♥ - This diaper is pretty basic looking.  It only comes in four colors and they're not very bright or bold.  It's also not a very soft or cushy looking fabric.

In Conclusion:
I would recommend this diaper to those that have a baby with a short rise and that want a super absorbent diaper.  This diaper may not have a high style look but boy does it work well!

  1. These diapers are the only ones that keep my baby from waking up soaking wet in the morning. I like them better than other expensive diapers, because they are more absorbent and fit my baby better. And you can't beat the price with free shipping! WOW!
