Just A Few Of The Gift Bundles That I've Already Made |
With all of this sewing that I’ve been doing on wipes and burp cloths it’s hard to stop. Once I get into the groove on something I just want to keep going. Then I had a great idea! I have so many friends that are pregnant and going to have babies within the next couple of months. What better gift to give than a custom package of wipes and burp cloths! Just a little something extra to give with each of my gifts.

My Sister Mandy LOVED her Burp Cloths and Wipes/Washcloths Gift Bundle |
I decided to package each gift with five
wipes/washcloths and two
Deluxe Pocket Burp Cloths. This is the perfect quantity for me to be able to utilize my fabric cuttings without hardly any waste. I just need to purchase a half yard of a super cute flannel fabric and a half yard of coordinating terrycloth. When I’ve completed the wipes / washcloths and burp cloths I stack them all on top of each other, wrap them with a bow, and stick one of my custom labels on top. You can create your own custom label or gift tag using cardstock and a shape cutting hole punch. Voila! You have a super cute gift that any mommy or soon to be mommy would “Oooooooh and Aaaaaaaah” over. Just have fun with it, and don’t forget to post pictures of your creations on my
Facebook page, or better yet a candid shot of your friend receiving your creation as a gift. I love to see those smiling faces.
I love these! What a great idea! I will definitely have to look into making some for the bun & my own pg friends :) (jwag22000@yahoo.com)

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! You might see me up on Etsy in the future. Unfortunately I just checked and the name Fluff N Stuff is already taken. Boo to that.

Selina - Haha! I photographed these right before I mailed yours out. I hope you like the colors. I probably should have asked what your fave colors were first. I'm kind of on a green kick lately. : )
ReplyDeleteYeah, bummer about the name being taken. I'm trying to think of another way to alter it but still make it easy to remember.
I love it! Very cute...I always envy you crafty mamas.
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute and yet functional! I'll be honest, as a Mom-to-be, I don't think I would've realized how great a gift this is, but as a Mommy, I would love these :) ngiraldi at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! I agree that you should sell them! You are one talented mama. I love your packaging, simple & sweet =)
ReplyDeleteI LOVED my burp cloth wash cloth set! I already washed them and there ready for little Max to use. The fabric is soft and durable. They didn't shrink or fray at all. I love the color pattern also! Thank you!!

Jill - Believe me, my first ones did not come out cute at all. By the 3rd or 4th one I had the hang of it. You should totally give it a try.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I don't know why I haven't thought of it before lol. Did you use a serger or top stitch?
ReplyDeleteMrs. Smitty - I top stitch all of my projects. Looking into buying a Serger really soon though.

Love the prints ! also, It's great that they are made with little waste ~ what beautiful and functional gift! - krystylwaechter@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love that the reason you picked five cloths and two burp pads is because with this number it helps reduce waste. Hope your store does well. Congrats on the opening.
