Tiny Tush Elite Review

Every once in awhile I am surprised by a product. Sometimes I really think I'm going to love a product and end up being disappointed. Sometimes I question a product but I buy it anyways and am blown away by how awesome it really is. The Tiny Tush Elite 1.0 was one of those products that surprised me. In what way did it surprise me you ask? Was it good or bad? Well let me tell you... It was AWESOME!!! I found the Tiny Tush Elites on a Deal A Day site called Zullily.  I wasn't totally convinced that I wanted to get them because they were so basic looking and I'd never heard of them before, but I had lots of referral money to spend so I said what the hell and bought some.  I ordered one aplix version and one snap version and let me tell you from the first time I used these diapers I LOVED them.  They're now my go to night time diaper.  I always grab them first and plan on getting more.  Read on below to find out more about these diapers and see why I love them so much.

The Specifics:
Sizing: One Size diaper fitting babies from 7-35lbs.  The size is adjusted via a snap down rise giving the diaper four different size settings.

Closure: Aplix or Snaps.  The snap version has two snaps on each wing.  (*The new version 1.1 has coordinating snaps and a cross over snap for smaller waist babies)

Exterior: PUL in 14 different solid colors w/ white snaps.  (*The new version 1.1 comes in 13 solid colors and 5 prints, plus the snaps coordinate with the PUL fabric)

Interior: Micro-fleece with reverse envelope pocket.

Inserts:  2 imported microfiber inserts (1 large and 1 small) come with the diaper.  You can upgrade to two USA made microfiber inserts or 2 USA made cotton pocket stuffers.

Manufactured: USA (inserts are imported from China unless you upgrade to the USA made inserts)

Tiny Tush Elite 1.0 w/ Aplix - $19.95  (Overall Rating: ♥♥♥♥)

Ease Of Use: ♥♥♥♥ - The aplix version is VERY easy to use.  I can put these diapers on in no time at all. The snap down rise is also very fast and easy to adjust when needed.  The only time consuming feature is stuffing and un-stuffing this diaper, but it is extremely easy to stuff for a pocket diaper so I can do these in no time at all.

Adjustability & Fit: ♥♥♥♥♥ - The adjustability and fit is what made me fall in love with these diapers from the first time I put them on Lincoln.  This is especially true of the aplix version.  The wings have a great stretch and hugs Lincoln's waist like no other diaper I have.  I also love that the snap down rise has four different size settings.  It gives me more options than the typical 3 size settings most diapers have.  I also love the high rise of this diaper and the wide front panel.  Linc is a big boy and this diaper really fits well on him and I can tell it will fit well for a long time to come.

Linc is 3 mos & 16 lbs
Leak Protection: ♥♥♥♥♥ - I never have leaks with this diaper.  This is mostly due to the amazing fit although the inserts seem to work fine.  I usually use one of the provided microfiber inserts during the day and add a hemp insert to it during the night.

Wash Routine: ♥♥♥♥♥ - Wash routine is very easy and I've never had a problem with the aplix coming undone in the wash.  I always hang dry these diapers and they dry in no time at all in my laundry room.

Bang For The Buck: ♥♥♥♥♥ - These are an average price for a one-size pocket diaper, but if you get the old version like I have you can get them for $13 right now!!!!!  GREAT price.

Quality & Durability: ♥♥♥♥ - I've been using these diapers for over a month and they still look the same as when I first bought them.  I love the quality and feel of these.  I am curious as to how the aplix will hold up.  It seems to be holding up better than my Thirsties aplix, but only time will tell.

The Look: ♥♥♥♥♥ - As I said before this is a pretty basic looking diaper with no frills.  They do have a few prints in the new 1.1 version, but I'm not too excited about them.  I did see just last week though that the Mini Elite is coming out with some very nice prints and I can't wait till they become available in the regular Elite style.  I will definitely be buying some (more like a LOT) when they do.

Tiny Tush Elite 1.0 w/ Snaps - $19.95  (Overall Rating: ♥♥♥♥)

Ease Of Use: ♥♥♥♥ - These diapers take a bit longer to put on than the aplix version, but I love that there are only two snaps on each wing instead of three so that really saves some time there. The only time consuming feature is stuffing and un-stuffing this diaper, but it is extremely easy to stuff for a pocket diaper so I can do these in no time at all.

Adjustability & Fit: ♥♥♥♥ - The fit and adjustability of the snap version is not as great as the aplix version, but I still usually get an awesome fit with them.  Every now and then I'm between snaps for a perfect fit, but usually a week later or so they fit great again.  The wings have a great stretch and hugs Lincoln's waist like no other diaper I have.  I also love that the snap down rise has four different size settings.  It gives me more options than the typical 3 size settings most diapers have.  I also love the high rise and wide front panel of this diaper.  Linc is a big boy and this diaper really fits well on him and I can tell it will fit well for a long time to come.

Wash Routine: ♥♥♥♥♥ - Wash routine is very easy and because they're snap I don't ever have to worry about the aplix coming undone and sticking to other diapers.  I always hang dry these diapers and they dry in no time at all in my laundry room.

Bang For The Buck: ♥♥♥♥♥ - These are an average price for a one-size pocket diaper, but if you get the old version like I have you can get them for $13 right now!!!!!  GREAT price.

Quality & Durability: ♥♥♥♥♥ - I've been using these diapers for over a month and they still look the same as when I first bought them.  I love the quality and feel of these.  I don't expect these diapers to look used for a very long time.

IN CONCLUSION ...
Overall I'm super happy with the Tiny Tush Elites.  The fit is awesome!  I can't wait to try one of their new version diapers with some of their USA made inserts.  I'm just holding off for a little bit to see if the new prints come out anytime soon.  I reallllly love the new prints they're coming out with on the Tiny Tush Ellite Mini Pockets.  Soooooo cute!  When I do get the new version you can bet I'll be doing another review of one of my favorite diapers to let you know how it works out.
