Changing Diapers - The Hip Mom's Guide to Modern Cloth Diapering

In early May I decided that I would be using cloth diapers on our newest addition.  Since then I've been scouring the internet for any bit of information I can find about cloth diapering I can get my hands on.  I've read the blogs, went through all the websites, and watched all the reviews on YouTube.  There is just a wealth of information on the internet.  I'm an old fashioned girl sometimes though and I love a good book.  One I can touch and make notes in.  I love something I can put on my bookshelf and refer to anytime I want to.  I also love that I can lend a book out to any of my friends that are also considering cloth diapering.  There's just something about a good book that makes me smile.

BlossomWith that said I was ecstatic when I saw that Kelly Wels was coming out with a book all about cloth diapering.  I'd seen other books on the internet, but they all seemed a bit outdated and just like technology, it seems like cloth diapering changes at the blink of an eye.  There's always a new company that just got discovered, or a company comes out with a new style.  Maybe there are new fabrics that are being used.  You just never know, so I'd like to get the latest and greatest advice from the newest source.

BlossomKelly Wels new book is titled Changing Diapers: The Hip Mom's Guide to Modern Cloth Diapering.  It's a 215 page book that claims to be the definitive guide to everything you need to know (and forgot to ask) about cloth diapering.  It's not out on the bookshelves yet, but it'll be out Sept/Oct of 2011.  I've already pre-ordered mine and can't wait for it to get here so I can read it and let you all know what I think.  Here is a sneak peak at what you will find in the book.

  2. Yep! I plan on keeping mine out so I can show everyone how far cloth diapers have come. It's also a great short read to lend to friends thinking about cloth.
