Goodmama - One Size Turned Fitted Diaper Review

If you know about cloth diapers, then you've probably heard about Goodmama.  It's a crazy addiction that has sucked many a cloth diapering moms in with their super cute prints and crazy hype.  I'm not one to succumb to the hype, but yes, the Goodmama sucked me in and I just had to see what all the hoopla was for myself.  Who could resist a cute print like this anyways?  Perfect for a boy or a girl, Thing 1 and Thing 2 is so cute on Linc's not so little bum.  I could look for days at all the cute prints available on the Goodmama site.  I dare you to check them out and not have the sudden urge to buy buy buy.  Oh yes, I dare you!

Performance Review:

Ease Of Use: ♥♥♥♥ - This diaper is pretty easy to use.  It does have three snaps on each wing, but that's pretty typical for a lot of diapers.  I do like that the diaper soaker is a short petal soaker.  I don't have to worry about folding a long soaker before putting on the diaper.  I do wish that I had bought a knit fabric though.  It would have stretched better making snapping this diaper easier.

Adjustability & Fit: ♥♥♥♥♥ - Linc still fits in this diaper, but I must warn you, it does run very small.  Both tester babies wore this diaper like bikini bottoms.  I would say this diaper is geared towards the smaller less chunky baby.  This diaper also didn't stretch very well, but I would say that has more to do with the fact that it's a woven cotton instead of a knit cotton.

Leak Protection: ♥♥♥♥ - This diaper is pretty good as far as leak protection.  After peeing Linc would usually just feel damp.  A few times he would feel wet, but for the most part, just damp.  Both tester babies were also able to wear this diaper all night long without any leaks. *Please note that this diaper does require a cover in order to be waterproof*

Wash Routine: ♥♥♥♥♥ - These diapers are fairly easy to wash and dry.  I just throw them in with the soaker still attached so I don't have to worry about matching it up when they're clean.  I will say that this diaper does take a bit on the long side to dry though.  On average this diaper took about 105 minutes to dry in my dryer.

Bang For The Buck: ♥♥♥♥♥ -  Yes, these are great diapers, but the hype of them has driven the price way above what I think it should be and way higher than the average price of a fitted diaper.

Quality & Durability: ♥♥♥♥♥ - These diapers are top notch when it comes to quality and durability. I've been using mine for quite awhile now and it still looks just as good as the day I bought it.  A part of that is because it's a woven fabric instead of a knit, but it's also because of the great quality that goes into making these diapers.

The Look: ♥♥♥♥♥ - You can't deny that Goodmamas are cute.  That's one of the main reasons they are so popular.  They continue to come out with cute print after cute print which mamas love to collect.  I just love to look at all the available diapers on their shop site.  It's so hard not to just want to buy them all.

In Conclusion:
I would recommend this diaper to those with a small to average size baby that are looking for some super cute high quality diapers.  Yes, they are a bit on the high side as far as price but with popular brands like this, you can usually re-sell them later on down the road for close to what you paid for them.

  1. Oh my goodness, I love this print! I really just can't justify spending $38 on a fitted though, especially when there are so many other great quality WAHM fitteds for much cheaper.
