Couture Fluff All In Two "Twiggy Fit" - Review

I can't remember when I first came across Couture Fluff, but I'm so glad I did.  It must have been one of those nights when I just cruised the web for a great All-In-Two (AI2) diaper.  I'm on an All-In-Two kick and always on the lookout for another awesome brand to add to my list of greats.  Well let me tell you, Couture Fluff definitely makes the list as some of the cutest All In Two diapers that I've ever seen!  I could just drool for hours looking at all the cute prints available on her site.  Check out my review below to see how these super cute All-In-Two diapers held up for us.

Diaper Features:

Diaper Type: All In Two

Size Range: One Size diaper fitting babies from 8-35lbs adjusted via a snap down rise.  Also available with fold over rise, or no rise adjustments.

Waist Closure: 3 snaps on each wing with crossover snaps

Exterior: Decorative woven cotton fabric over PUL hidden core.  Also comes in knit, cotton velour, or PUL exteriors.  Click here to see the Couture Fluff Fabric Collections

Interior: Anti-Pill Fleece

Insert: The snap in soaker consists of two parts.  The main soaker has two tongues and each has a layer of cotton velour and a layer of organic bamboo fleece.  The second soaker snaps in between the two tongues of the main soaker and is made of Zorb II.  You can use all three together for the greatest wetness protection, just the main soaker for regular protection, or just the Zorb soaker for an infant.

Performance Review:

Ease Of Use: ♥♥♥♥ - I personally prefer the ease of diapers that have hook and loop or two snaps per wing, but after you get the hang of your child's snap placement it gets easier.  The soaker is very easy to snap in and fit onto your baby.  Just bring the soaker up between your baby's legs and fold back down if it's too long.  Then bring up the diaper shell and snap the wings around your baby.  Taking off the diaper is even easier.  Just unsnap the soaker and throw in the diaper pail.

Adjustability & Fit: ♥♥♥♥ - This diaper comes in two different styles.  They have the "Twiggy Fit" and the Marilyn Fit".  The Twiggy Fit is narrow between the legs, while the Marilyn is wider.  I have the Twiggy Fit, but I think in Linc's case since he's so chunky, I should have gotten the Marilyn Fit.  That being said, the diaper still fits very well and the Twiggy Fit is nice and trim between the legs.  I love that there are two fits for this diaper to choose from.  It makes this diaper a great option for those babies that need a custom fit.

Leak Protection: ♥♥♥♥ - This diaper worked a lot better than I thought it would.  I sometimes get worried with cotton exteriors, but this diaper lasted 3 hours before the cotton started feeling damp.  That's even with me carrying Linc all the time compressing the diaper against my hip.  The diaper did leak just a bit of poop, but I will say the one time this happened it was the worst case of super breast fed poop I've ever seen.  I don't think there are many diapers out there that would have contained it.  It was like something out of a horror movie.

Wash Routine: ♥♥♥♥ - Wash routine is VERY easy for this diaper.  I love that I don't have to worry about hook and loop closures or diaper trains with this diaper.  I normally wash the diaper, leave the shell to hang dry, and dry the soakers in the dryer.  Because the shell is cotton, it does take awhile to dry and cotton does feel slightly stiff when air dried.  I just throw it in the dryer for 10 min to fluff it up a bit.  The soaker stained once, but sunned out pretty quick.

Bang For The Buck: ♥♥♥♥♥ - I think the price is pretty average for what you're getting.  The diaper is super cute and a great quality.  It's an AI2, but since the exterior is cotton I'm not sure that I would use it as an AI2.  You would need to make sure to change the diaper before the wetness starts wicking to the exterior fabric.

Quality & Durability: ♥♥♥♥ - Love the quality and durability of this diaper.  All the seam lines look perfect and the fabrics feel like a great quality.  The interior fleece pills a bit at the edges, but not any more than most other fleece.  The snaps look perfectly snapped and I love the cute little label on the back.  Even the soaker looks perfectly made.  All the serging is clean and smooth with crisp straight lines.  The Zorb does curl a bit, but the other two soakers keep it in place.

The Look: ♥♥♥♥♥ - These diapers are sooooo cute!  Tanya has such a keen eye for super cute fabrics, cute coordinating snap colors, and yummy looking liners and soakers.  There's nothing bad I can say about the look of these diapers.  LOVE them!  My all time favorite?  I love the Stache diaper!!!  Totally a must have.  I might just have to get that one in blue.

In Conclusion:
I really like the Couture Fluff diapers!  There's no doubt that these diapers are SUPER CUTE and a great quality!  I would like to try a Marilyn Fit next time though to see how it compares with the Twiggy Fit.  The Twiggy seemed to be just a bit too skinny for my chunky monkey.  I'd also like to try this diaper in a PUL exterior fabric.  I love the look of a woven cotton exterior, but I love the reliability of a PUL.  That's another reason I love Couture Fluff.  You can create your perfect diaper.  So would I recommend Couture Fluff?  Yep, they get two thumbs up from me.
